KOTH has always been $25 minimum - $55 for elite players gives a greater payout, and is still much cheaper than $145 for the London PDC event to play the best players around the GTA and beyond....

Too bad our Club Championships are that weekend, or I'd gladly hand over $55 to play in KOTH elite.

Yes, remember it is PDC and they are asking $140...

The $700 first place prize didn't exist until we went out on a limb and make it happen.

How about a round of applause instead of a backwards criticism for once, Ice.

I know you're not a negative guy in general...

Just to throw my positivity in here,

In the London Open last year it cost $40.00 (I believe) to enter the doubles event on the day before the P.D.C shoot. My partner and I defeated a few locals and a few pros to make the top eight, all for a lousy $25.00 each.

It is nice to see not all of the prize money go to the top two and a very fair payout of the top eight.

Now here is my negativity and just a general comment not directed at anyone,

Our beloved game has enough troubles, can we please get over the pros for a bit and focus on our players? When Shawn, Bernie, Andre, and the 99 other players who are capable of pounding a 106 average in a set do it it is just as good as when someone from overseas does it.

Well, call me "Sideshow Pete" - I'll be in the little one, while doing a bit of spectating on the big one. Good idea Paul, DP.

And I can't see prize money going higher than entry fee totals unless we get some sponsorship going, unfortunately. The only guys making money at the TD tourneys are the winners - I'd be surprised to hear that Paul is actually getting rewarded for all the work he does for us. PDC is a different kettle of fish entirely...they sell a lot of advertising, and beer, at those events we see on the TV.
