The Bar:

Located half way between the Donlands and Greenwood subway stations, The Hargrave is a popular all-round pub at the eastern end of Toronto's famous Danforth district. Part sports bar, part local watering hole, you can watch the game on 42-inch high definition plasma TV sets, or just kick back on the smoking patio. In the colder months warm your hands by the fireplace while enjoying your favourite beverage from their well-stocked bar that includes 12 beers on tap or their selection of single malts. The back games room is also available to reserve for private parties or after game meet-ups.

The Dart Area:

Located in the large back games room, The Hargrave provides 2 well-lit boards for darters. While semi-private, you'll have to share the room with a pool table and some table patrons on busier nights, but there's always ample room to get your game on.



Dart Action:

The Hargrave has sponsored teams playing in the Queen Street Dart League (QSDL) for many years, and play there every second Tuesday from Fall to the end of May. The bar also sponsors a team in the popular Toronto Summer Dart League (TSDL), which plays in June through August.


The Menu:

You can expect to see all of your favourite pub dishes such as Bangers & Mash and Sheppard's Pie but be forewarned - you might be swayed to try the Barbecued Ribs and wings, too! Everything is cooked on-premises and, due to the owner's dedication to providing quality food at reaosnable prices, everything seems to cost about 10% less than you'll find at most other Toronto restaurants and pubs.

Driving Directions & Map:

Take the 401 and go south on the Don Valley Parkway to Bloor Street and then head east (left) at Bloor (which will actually be Danforth Avenue). You'll pass Broadview Avenue, Pape Avenue, and the Hargrave is located just past the next cross-walk on the north side (next to an auto-body shop).

Parking & Public Transit:

With lots of street parking right outside the pub on Danforth, you should have no problem parking within a minute's walk. If you do park on Danforth Avenue, be sure to get a ticket from one of the paid metres as parking is enforced by the city regularly.

Sidestreet parking is uaually free, however check the signs for notices of permit-parking and times.

If you prefer to use the TTC, The Hargrave is located half way between the Donlands and Pape subway stations.
