Toronto Danforth for darts, the patio, wings, & pool!

The Bar:

Located along the Danforth strip in Toronto's "Greektown" neighbourhood, O'Reilly's Pub (formerly Maverick's) is a true neighbourhood bar with a casual yet friendly feel. While the establishment has been in its current location since the late '80s, it was recently re-opened by the dynamic and dart-friendly owner-operator, Izzy.

Most of the seats are in the front half of the bar, with tables near the front window looking out onto "The Danforth" and comfortable booth-style seating toward the middle. While actually a large bar, the seating arrangement gives it that cozy and comfortable feel.

The Dart Area:

O'Reilly's boasts one of the larger setups in the city with 4 boards permanently located along one wall. Being a dart friendly establishment, supplies such as chalk and brushes are easily found and the boards are always well maintained. For a bit of privacy we suggest using the board at the back of the pub as it is situated away from the majority of dining customers and gives you a bit of privacy.

Dart Action:

Quite a few of the locals can be found playing rounds of "friendlies" at all times during the evenings, and Bob and Izzy are finding it hard to ignore the action on the boards, and have begun laying themselves. Thursday nights are when the action really heats up as the O'Reilly's house-league plays on those nights. Bob and Izzy treat their house players well and have offered prizes along with "incentives" along the way.

With plenty of metered street parking along Danforth, the pub is quite easy to get to by public transit as O'Reilly's is pretty much smack in the middle between Pape and Donlands subway station along the Bloor/Danforth subway line.
