The Bar:
If you're looking for Scarborough restaurants, pubs or bars, this is all three rolled into one! With a commitment to providing "restaurant quality food at pub prices", the 3 Monkeys Bar and Eatery certainly delivers. Specializing in certified Angus quality steaks, salads, pizza and traditional pubfare, there is no shortage of available choices that will surely please even the most discriminate of palates.

Bigger than it looks from the outside, the pub has a homey and comfortable feel and is furnished in the style of an English pub. Always aiming to please, the "4th Monkey" is now open for private parties and functions. This ultra-comfortable room will hold up to 50 people and comes complete with internet, computer hook-ups, video and dvd equipment, big-screen projection and even a fireplace!

Located a minute's drive from the 401 highway and in between Ellesmere Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East, the 3 Monkeys pub has not surprisingly become a steady home-away-from-home for its many regulars. Whether stopping by for an after-work drink or arriving with family or friends for dinner, this venue is a popular local destination. For those who like the atmosphere of a busy and vibrant - but not overcrowded - establishment, this place fits the bill. The huge bar is well stocked and you'll find all of your favourites and some not-so-common names as well.

Don't be fooled by the address because this is a great family and business destination! Contrary to the name, no monkey business is allowed: superior service and quality is the true order of the day here.

The Dart Area:
There are 4 boards in total: 3 in the main dart area and one board on its own and in a separate area. The triple-board set is in its own walled and semi-private area, which means you won't have people disturbing your game while still being close enough to the bar to call attention to the friendly wait staff to replenish your favourite beverage. If a little bit of privacy is what you're after, the 4th board is divided by a wall and sits in its own "lane". This bar is truly dart-friendly and you won't have any trouble finding supplies or staff to take care of you.

The Menu:
The pub boasts that they offer "restaurant quality food at pub prices" and we'd have to agree: Where else can you order up "Osso Bucco", "Mexican Drunk Duck", "Rack of Lamb" or a 10oz certified Angus steak for no more than $12.00? Of course you can always find the standards such as burgers and cheap wings and no matter your selection, the portions are guaranteed to be generous and, best of all, moderately priced!

The 1kg Burger Challenge:
That's right, an entire kilogram of Angus certified, 100% beef hamburger, complete with all the trimmings including onion rings and fries. If you can eat it ALL - and we mean every single item on the plate - it's free! It's enough food to feed a family of 5 but, hey - if you're up to the challenge the Monkeys are willing to pick up the tab.

Public Transit:
The Warden 69 bus from Warden subway along the Bloor Danforth subway line takes you to their front door in about 15 minutes (and not much longer during rush hour, suprisingly enough).

Driving Directions & Map
The pub is located on the east side of Warden Avenue, just south of the 401 and north of Ellesmere. From the 404/DVP you can take the 401 east for a couple of minutes and be right there.

Parking:
Parking is never an issue as there are more than enough spots around the pub for you to park.

The Dart Action:
There are currently 7 teams from local dart leagues being sponsored by the pub on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. 4 teams are from Metro Toronto Area Dart League and 3 are from Scarborough Pub League. With 4 dartboards available on the non-league nights you'll always be able to step right up and begin playing. Blind draw tournaments on weekends may be planned for the near future as well.
