Our Blind Draw Pub Crawl Is Complete!

The winners of the first annual Torontodarts.com blind draw pub crawl.Well, we did it: four different blind draws over the course of four weeks at four different dart pubs, and what a blast it was. With 30 different people attending, prizes, free food and some really good darts in between we'd have to say that the event was a success!

Each night was a stand-alone tournament, with overall points carried over into a 4 night appreciation event where top point getters over the 4 nights would get some additional prizes.

John Part Wins The 2008 Ladbrokes.com World Championship!

John Part wins the 2008 Ladbrokes.com world darts championship.Canada's very own John Part claimed a stunning victory, along with the £100,000 first prize for his efforts, at the 2008 Ladbrokes.com PDC World Darts Championship with a ruthless demolition of Kirk Shepherd at London's Alexandra Palace by taking the match 7 sets to 2 and by averaging nearly 93 points per throw.

John has joined a select group of professional dart players as only 4 others - Raymond van Barneveld, Phil Taylor, Eric Bristow and John Lowe - have accomplished this feat. John's first 2 World Championships were won in 1994 and 2003. Congratulations, John!

MyTADA.ca Ladies Dart Tournament A Success!

On January 5th, 48 players from St. Catharines to Trenton made the trek to Toronto to compete for what will hopefully become an "All Female" annual event.

Congratulations to singles finalists Debralee Roberts, Marion Carli and Jenn Hannen, and to Elaine Pearson and Linda Rust who edged-out Kim Clayton and Trish David in the doubles portion of the event.

It was a great start to what will hopefully become an annual event and you can visit the MyTada.ca website for more information.

2008 Oshawa Motor City Open Has Been Cancelled!

According to the The Oshawa & District Dart League, a lack of local sponsor support has contributed to the cancelling of this year's dart tournament.

Please visit their website for more information and updates and, remember, if we expect events like this to continue then we need to support the sponsors who make them possible!

New Dart Events

Some new dart events have come up that you may want to check out: A Night with John Part, The Moose Fall Bash, the 12th Annual Bob Jones Memorial Open and the 2007 Victoria Open.
